Who will stand
At times i feel low and my needs are great,
who will stand with me in my weary state.
Who will stand when i fall to my knees,
who will help without me nagging please.
who will rush in and affirm me when i feel so low
when i get home from school from a heavy blow.
who will be with me on my days so bright,
and on the others make everything right.
who will love me when i feel unlovable,
who will stand for me when i run into trouble.
who will hug me when i'm wriggling in and out of love,
when i'm stressed and anxious who will give me the peace of a dove.
when i need advice and i'm low on courage
who will sit with me and look at it for my advantage
who will rummage through my mess and find that one pair of clean sox,
and when my hearts closed off, break all the locks.
who will help me when i can't help myself
who will help me rediscover my heart of wealth.
who out there will help me see,
the good thats inside of me.
Amongst all the people standing in the areana,
your face couldn't shine any brighter.
Its you that i want to stand by my side,
but i'll leave that up to you to decide...
