Life is bittersweet
much like a cake that you can't eat
Questions that can't be answered
pot holes from which you can't swerve
like a roller coaster- unnerving
uncontrollable and overwhelming.
Life is also like a picnic
full of delight, nuisance and pleasure
a flame that never finds the end of the wick
In the kist of life, people are the real treasure
Gems, gold, rubies and diamonds have nothing on my friends
No matter how messy the relationships is,
it is always worth making amends
I like to sit awhile and watch time move slowly,
it makes one feel wealthy but one can also enjoy the pleasure of the lowly
Whatever your lot, whatever your life likens itself too,
be sure to add friends when your life is blue.
