old space, new stuff...

This is my old space but Kara has decorated it slightly differently to how I had it.  I love what she has done.

We'll start in the bedroom and then take a walk around the rest of the house.

I really enjoy the colour combination here and the sentimental flag to add some more colour!

I must say I rather enjoy the different fabrics, the different colours and what a lovely combination it makes.

 Woven fruit basket :)

 She's in the spotlight.

I enjoy the different textures (in the picture above) such as the plastic woven mat, the felted cushion, the smooth ottoman and the wooden flooring.
I enjoy this combination so much.  I enjoy circular shapes mixed with geometric shapes.  It creates such a contrast, which I thoroughly enjoy!

Its all in the little details.

That was a mixed media painting that I made for Kara whilst waiting for her arrival to SA from the US.

What is a house without books and a candle? Just a house.  Books and candles help make a house a home.

I snapped this pic on my way home to East London.  I loved the firey red blossoms on the Coral tree.  It reminds me that passion can can bloom out of any circumstance.

Much love,
Sarah

hope you enjoyed this space as much as I did.
