smell with your ears?
feel with your heart.
see with your mind.
listen with your eyes?
Sounds strange hey?! Maybe I shouldn't become a teacher after that. Before you write me off as a teacher read this story (scan with your eyes, process with your mind). I have inserted it below.
Intended audience: people who are teachable. I have written it down with my hands. Feeling the keyboard below my finger tips and felt it with my heart too:
" A little girl came home from school with a drawing she'd made in class. She danced into the kitchen, where her mother was preparing dinner.
'Mom, guess what?' she squealed, waving the drawing.
"Her mother never looked up.
'What?' she said, tending to the pots.
'Guess what?' the child repeated, waving the drawing.
'Mom, you're not listening'.
'Sweetie, yes I am.'
'Mom,' the child said, 'you're not listening with your eyes.'
From the book, 'Have a little Faith'- Mitch Aldom who also wrote 'Tuesdays with Morrie'.
Love,
Sarah
