Putting thoughts into words

The kind of man that I look for is someone who you can look in the eye and they can into yours. As the phrase goes "the eyes are the window to the soul" this is true 'cos when u look someone in the eye it is a place of honesty, surrender and submission. Why would you look someone in the eye if we weren't looking for something more?

I believe we look into peoples eyes because we are looking for some answers and as we do we find ourselves submitting to the consequences of these answers and then surrender ourselves to them. For example: A family waiting to hear news from the doctor, searching the doctors face, accepting or declining the situation in dis\belief and then making necessary adjustments. But it all starts in the look!

This brings me to my recent search for what I want in my partner one day and it is this:
Someone who I can look in the eye, submit and trust that they have my best intentions at heart!

Oh and get this! I want someone who can treat me as a father would treat his princess daughter with delight and adoration.

As well as someone who can be my equal. Someone who I can submit/surrender to and him to me!

Tonight over dinner we were discussing marriage contracts with a married couple. Proverbs 31 popped up. It speaks of a woman who considers a land and buys it! I totally want to be that woman, who is given enough independence to make decisions as well as allow others to make 'difficult' decisions with mercy and grace to follow.

Let us look, find, submit, surrender, accept, decline, love, risk, adventure, recline, consider and in doing so we will truly live!!!
