Things I love and dont:
I just love the history of costume_ I write a test on it next thursday and to be honest I am excited about it!
As for theory of textiles that's a bit more complicated. I enjoy the science behind a fabric but it can go into such detail that it becomes painful.
I'm not an engineer and to be honest and not too interested in how the machines work! But it needs to be studied, urgh!
If the machines do their job I'm happy but please don't ever put me in charge of machines like those printing ones.
I must say I am a real crafty girl, I like the incongruencies of hand made things it reminds me that we are all alive and much like life no one is perfect. But there is some sort of harmony in the imperfections.
None the less the goal is to keep as knowledgeable about as much as possible and in doing so will create a world with endless opportunities. Sometimes staying open to things that don't tickle our fancy is difficult but its the things we enjoy that help us to accomplish things that we do not enjoy naturally!
Oh and then to throw a spanner in the works, ever not enjoyed something until u meet someone really interesting who makes that topic REAALLY appealing? Well that also plays a factor in the process. I'm sure if u look back to school days and you'd remember teachers who made science as appealing as eating chocolate or skate boarding.
Oh and then to take it a step further sometimes we have so much love and ambition stored up in our hearts that it doesn't even matter. Maybe your attitude is one of always furthering your mind and any piece of information is an opportunity to develop, research and expand?
{This is a late night post mainly because I can't sleep (Cos I'm in a routine of going to bed at 2am) but yah thought I'd make the most of it by posting.}
In concluding, whatever it is that you do or don't love or that motivates you, just keep moving, and spilling forth your personality!
