"The man who does more than he is paid for will soon be paid for more than he does"- Napoleon Hill
This is such a great principle to live by. 2013 will be my first year of work. I look forward to start living by Napoleon Hill's principle. I am determined to put in a little bit more than what is expected of me, even if it is just 30 minutes a day.
To be paid for more than we do sounds just great! We all love rewards. We all love recognition. But it comes at a cost and sometimes we need to give before we get. This stems closely from the biblical principle which says that you reap what you sow/sew.
Every effort may seem unnoticed but God see's and He will reward you for your faithfulness. Your employers might see, your colleagues will respect you more, people will notice your effort and you will reap your reward. The reward may be that you are sowing your personal time into your job and that may reap added enjoyment in that area. I truly believe that if you sow into one area it will reap in that area and others. For example if you sow time, effort and energy into fitness you are bound to reap it in that area-which will affect other areas in your life too. If you sow more time, effort and energy into your job you will reap there. Okay I am sure that you get the picture!
Keep sowing and do not grow weary in doing good! You will reap your reward!
