I heard a quote that said that if you don't work on fulfilling your dreams, you'll help someone else reach theirs. While it is important to support others, it is equally important to fulfill your dreams.
My mom said something profound this evening when I told her that I'm afraid of being left behind. She said that when you are leading your own life, no one can leave you behind.
Recently I have joined Pinterest. I must say I really do enjoy it but I feel so often that I am watching everyone else create marvelous things instead of creating my own.
Truth is that we have all been given a dose of creativity. Like it or not we were created in the image of a creative God, Jesus. I think we can deduce that there is some understanding of creativity in each of us. Surely then we have the ability to be creative. What if we all followed our hearts and did something that we love- even if it is not something creative? What if we all fulfilled our dreams? What if we didn't look for excuses and just did it? What if? I think the world would be a happier place with more stimulated and fulfilled people.
So I encourage you friends to go your own way. Lead your own life, don't worry about what everyone else says. When you go, go with vooma (South African word for energy and power), passion and air fist punch!
