In the Bible it says that faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we cannot see. I think God knew that it would be difficult for us to trust, wait and believe. He knew that we would struggle to believe in someone we can't see, as if trusting someone you can see isn't difficult enough. He knew, but he still commanded us to trust, wait and believe. He knows that the seemingly impossible can become possible.
God encourages us to dream, to trust him for provision in every area of our lives. Yes, you may not see what you want right now but it doesn't mean that it is not out there. God has got a bigger picture than we do. TRUST.
Things I am trusting for:
* a special man in my life. I do not see any guy that I am head over heels in love with but I trust God that he is out there, somewhere.
* A job for 2013. I do not know where I am going to work next year but I know my finances are sorted out because I TRUST Him.
Everyday we are living by faith. The fact that you climb on a train, catch a cab, drive or walk to work all shows that you exhibit some form of trust in someone else. When you sit on a chair in a restruant you trust that it is not going to break. When you open the tap in the morning you trust that water will come out. When you switch on your light you trust that the light will come on. The list goes on. We all exhibit some level of faith. I encourage you to trust God that He has everything in the palm of His mighty and loving hand.
Trust Jesus-even if you don't know Him, trust that He loves you and wants the best for you!
