This picture was taken at the beach just a few kilometre from my house. How can I not love this little town.? There are many little beach commuinities along the coast that fill up over the festive season. It is such a gem of a beach. Today as many others it was so very quiet and peaceful. There is lots of space to walk, talk, read and tan. In saying that it reminds me of what my grandpa said to my mom when she was a little girl. They were picnicing on the beach and my mom plopped onto my gramps' lap when he replied and said, 'you have the whole beach to sit on but you choose my lap'. A trip down to the beach is even better when one has good company or a lap to sit on.
Over the past few months I've thought to myself 'stranger things have happened at sea'. Life has been a bit backwards. Staring at the sea is such a great way to see the bigger picture. No matter how strange/weird your circumstances are 'stranger things have happened at sea'. Other people have gone through stranger experiences. One seems to get revelations/ephiphanies like such when one is at the sea.
This is one reason why I love the sea and why I love this town.
