It's not so perfect when your computer doesn't recognise your blogs url. That means only one thing...I haven't been on my blog for a long time.
HONESTY POLICY:
If you know this blog at all you know that honesty is how I roll. So here goes when I found out I only have 5 followers I kinda decided its just not going to 'waste' my time anymore. But I have changed my mind AGAIN as I have stories and wonderful things to share with you.
I.
AM.
BACK.
So I have this picture I want to share with you. Hopefully you are all visual communicators *unlike me.
The beginning of my blogging is just about to start again. On your marks, get set, go!
I saw a man drawing on a ladies body. He was writing notes about what He loved about her. There wasn't an inch that was not covered. He had penned down things like 'I love everything about you', 'you are more than enough', 'your heart is the most precious thing in the world to me'. There was not a space He didn't like. There was not only writing but drawings of roses.
Then this moving picture rewound a bit to a time where this same girl was also covered in tattoo's of hate words. Words and bruises. The words said things like 'I hate you' , 'you so fat', you won't amount to anything' 'you are a failure' 'everything you do fails'. These words brought decay to her body. I saw her lying on a deserted beach, hopeless. She was the only one around. I was just taking a peek in. But then the gentle waves from the roaring ocean touched her ankle, then came up until her calf, then up until her knees, then her thighs, stomach, chest, shoulders and until her whole body and face was covered. The water gently touched her but simultaneously washed away the ink on her body. Slowly and gently washing away the accusations. Washing away the lies. Washing away the confusion. Washing away the hurt.
My prayer for you is this:
May God wash you clean from all the lies that have hurt you. May He whisper in your ear that you are enough. That you are His. That you belong to Him. May He remind you that He loves everything about you. May He wash you my friend. May He wash you.
Much love,
Sarah
