Lindt chocolate balls, pink champagne,
Sunshine after the light rain.
Off to church for some soul food
mom starts a joke and we cudnt get out the laughing mood
Treasures under the tree
(Oh and some are for me)
Jewelery and perfume are wrapped up
Feast for lunch and afternoon nap
Rich conversations stringed with laughter
A Saviour was born today to save us into a "happy ever after"
Meeting up with old friends
Where the love and joy never ends
But the best present of all was to see those kids at the hospital smile,
They forgot their pain-even if it was for just awhile.
The pleasure that comes from being unselfish for just a moment,
When we do, the love and joy in us won't relent
God bless those kids with HIV
With your future for them that'll pan out sucessfully
That they would know u more richly each day
That they would watch as their disease floats away
that one day, I will meet those children,
In malls, waiting rooms, airports or working in their gardens
In ten years time when I look into a sea of faces,
They could be standing there in random places.
Bless them God in the meantime with hope and peace
Allow there dreaming to never cease
Despite the tinsel, perfume and chapagne,
Let your dream and vision for them forever reign!
