While rum edging through my make up bag this morning to find my eye liner I questioned myself, "do I really need all this extra stuff?". I was in a bit of a rush and then continued to think how all this extra stuff that we carry really does slow us down. This is a simple illustration but I think it speaks more than just about cleaning out ones make-up bag. More specifically it talks about cleaning out our lives.
Maybe this is a good thing to think about as one year ends and another one starts... What things can we turf out that could benefit someone else? "Someones rubish is anothers treasure".
To add to this, I have been beginning to think to myself, "why do I spend time with people who don't like me and I don't connect with?", when I could be spending time with people who encourage me and I can encourage.
Simple but profound to my usual thinking.
Just a thought. Maybe I should throw out some of my make up, blush brush, old letters or old photos?
