Tribute to my mom***

When I'm tired of being kind and thoughtful and listening my mom says, "be kind, thoughtful and listening"
When i feel like I'm failing at varsity she says, "I don't care if you become the best designer in the world that won't change my love for you"
When I feel like I'm failing at life she says, "I don't care if you are on the cover of Cosmo or not, that won't change our relationship. I still love you!"
When life gets too tough she seeks out solutions for me.
When I need some encouragement she is there to tell me that it doesn't matter how successful I am in life, what counts is who I am and how I treat the people around me. She encourages me about my character and not about being the BEST designer (Ok yes that is part of it) but people are more important. She says to me what matters is how I treat the people at the till, my friends, family and the car guard. She will consistently say how it is all about the heart and relationships.

In order to be this kind of self-less person I need to know the one who is the most self-less and that is my King, Jesus.

"Thank you Jesus for getting me this far in life, for the people that have helped me along the way and for ALWAYS believing in me (even when I get tired of believing in myself). You are GOOD. I'm going to stop fussing and worrying about my life and watch you do all the work. Your lovely child, Sarah".
