Fashion do's:
* know which colours suite your skin, hair, eye tone Ie: does your skin tone have a warm or cold undertone?
* know which area's of your body you want to show off and then focus on one area. Has anyone ever commented on your great legs? or arms? etc
* Keep a neutral coloured umbrella in your car for an occasion where you may be caught in the rain.
* Keep a black cardigan in your boot for the unexpected chill.
* Dress in layers so that if the weather gets warmer you can undress layer by layer, this is very likely to happen in South Africa.
Fashion don'ts:
* Don't accentuate more than one area at a time-that is just showing off. Show off your sexy legs one night and the next show off a bit of cleavage- only if it is the appropriate occasion.
* Don't mix themes, Ie: don't wear a flamboyant hat with sweat pants.
* Don't mix warm colours with cold colours, Ie: if you are wearing an warm blue scarf don't wear a (cold undertone)blue top.
* Don't wear clothes just because they are in fashion. Consider your body shape and personal style and then choose what will look best on your. Fashion is only as good as it looks on you.
* Don't wear all your favourite pieces in one outfit. Remember less is more and while they may be great pieces they may take away emphasis from one another. Ie: bold ear rings may be pretty but when you are wearing a huge scarf, leopard print headband and a big necklace you may just not be able to see them and therefore not do them justice.
* Don't wear worn out clothing. Take pride in what you wear and when you can see that your pants are going see through-turf them.
* Don't let your undies show. Remember they are a secret that only you know about. If you are wearing sexy undies they are there for you to feel confident, not for others to see.
* Don't let your clothes limit you. If you know that you are going to have an active day, try not wear clothes that you can't bend in or move freely. This will frustrate you.
DO have fun with fashion. It is a great form of self-expression and can really set the mood for your day! ENJOY dressing up!
The scarf demands the most attention here due to the volume
the hat in the picture above is as formal as the rest of the outfit
there is one main point of interest in the outfit above and that is the fluffy coat
Enjoy your weekend
