a peice/peace of mind

Well for today's post I'm going to give you a peice of my mind. "As per usual" you'd say but this time I really don't know what I am going to write about. I usually have a general theme that I then flow with but all I can think about at this given time are the words 'peace', 'fight' and 'words'. Sometimes we just have to jump right into something before it all makes sense, so that is just what I am doing. Today I feel as if my peace has been restored, as well as my peace of mind. I'm not all that sure what exactly happened to restore it and I can only give credit to the King for giving it back to me.

I suppose I've realised in life all the good things are worth the fight and sometimes we have to fight for our peace. There are things in life that can really steal your peace. On two occasions I realised things that people had said to me stole my peace. Afterwards I realised that my peace had gone and felt unsettled. I realised then just the power that words have over our lives and we have the option to fight for our peace or let other people speak positive/negatively over our lives and thus shape our viewpoints.

I've also realised that it is not enough to wait for someone to speak good into your life. We might just wait forever ;) No, but seriously, we have the power and the fight in us to speak words of life into our lives that will bring us peace and hope. If you don't know what to speak over your life, have a skim through the Bible. You are bound to find some great truths to encourage us!

If you don't have peace in your heart, mind or soul, it is something worth fighting for and you can start by speaking/praying positive God inspired words over your life! Because God's truth will bring the peace you are looking for into your life.

I dare you!

p.s I'm so glad I jumped right into this post. There is always so much stored in our subconscious that our fingers are waiting for an opportunity to type it all out ;)

Love
Sarah
