''Sqwark! sqkark! Sqwark!"
Whilst eating breakfast with my mom at one of my favourite restruants which over looks the river a geese would make these loud sqwarking noises which drew everyone's attention. These geese demanded attention and that they got. Everyone would stop even if it was for a couple of seconds to see where this noise was coming from.
Imagine yourself surrounded by nature. tall trees, stars in the sky peeking between the leaves, a gentle breeze, the smell of bark and the taste of freshness. Would nature speak to you in that moment? When I heard the geese sqwarking I was reminded to stop, look and listen and let the very simple animals lead me into contemplation. How about it? How about sitting in nature and letting the beauty seap into the depths of your soul. If the wind may gently caress your face maybe just give into its kindness and beauty. I dare you in those moments to open your heart and let all that God made make an investment into your being.
May you find moments where you can just stop and say, ''it is well, it is well, it is well with my soul''.
