Hello foreigners!
Upon a spontaneous trip to Namibia I have driven past plenty of windmills. This got me thinking about windmills. Whilst on the surface they are not attractive yet their form is well known. Weird how whilst surrounded by dry lands, one of their functions can be to pump water. Sounds absurd to me. They dig in deep. They don't skim the surface, the machinery goes deep into the soil.
As you may know I think a lot and this lead me to think that we should become like a windmill. We should use what we have to be a tool to provide water/resources for farms, families and commuinities. When the land is dry and on the surface there seems to be no water, the windmill is a tool to pump it up. Plant yourself as a windmill.
Sometimes the answers to our problems come from going down deep. Skimming the surface just doesn't do it. We have to get to the bottom of it. Be like a windmill: go deep. Spend time in contemmplation to find the answers that you are looking for. Go in faith and trust that deep down there are resources.
I am not saying that every problem that we come across we should look for the root. Sometimes it is not worth going down those rabbit holes. But sometimes it is important to dip in deep in hope and trust that below the surface there is water. There are resources.
So where ever you are in the world. Im not talking only to people living in Namibia, be a windmill. Be a resource. Be the beacon of hope that says ''don't worry, below the surface there is water"
Love,
Sarah***
