A squizz of Cathcart... A little bit of everything...

This week end in Cathcart has been truly restful.  Reading, chatting, giggling, sharing stories of travelling and eating.  Oh boy did I mention eating! It shall be mentioned twice because there was so much of it.

The favourite thing I ate this week end?
Turkish delights from well... Turkey!  The way in which they were presented was exquisite.  They were wrapped in rice paper in a box with a sketch of Turkey on it.  Presentation is just so important.  I had a peice of pomegranite turkish delight that also had nuts in and was by far the best peice I've ever tasted.

So now that I've shared my favourite thing I've eaten this weekend I want to share from a book that I am reading.  Here are some of my favourite quotes from 'The Circle Maker' by Mark Batterson:

*Nothing honours God more than a big dream that is way beyond our ability to accomplish
*He has a way of making our wildest dreams seem tame, our biggest dreams seem small
*In order to experience a miracle, you have to take a risk and sometimes the risk is risking your reputation.
*Logic is screaming now but faith is screaming yes
*you are only one defining decision away from a totally different life.
*You'll never outgive God
*Sometimes your only option is trust because its the last card in your hand, but its the wild card
*What we percieve as unanswered prayers are often the greatest answers

Here are some photos to fill in the other gaps of what I've been up to:
Just a squizz...

Cathcart is most certainly not a glamourous town but I just loved the way the mountain was peeping over this chunk of cement.

I apologise for the blury photo but I had zoomed in on this one cos I didn't want this goat to get away.  It stood there perched on this block.  It is obviously longing to climb the rocks and this was the closest s/he could get.

Have a lovely long week end all!
Keep dreaming!

Love,
a dreamer, Sarah**
