him him him...

Is it just me or do woman just seem to effortlessly SPEND themselves in relationships?
In my experience (as a naive student) I see girls, ladies, women who will pour out their time, cancel their plans, compromise their values (just a little okay?!) for a guy who waltzes into her life.  By waltze I mean figuritively- if she's lucky enough.

But seriously, somewhere us girls have been indoctrinated to keep quiet and demand as little as possible.
Ok, just a side note but this probably has already screamed out to you but the intended audience of this post is yes, you guessed it...woman, ladies, girls, females.

The purpose of this post? to empower females.  Empower them and disempower the lies that are so subtle and indoctrinated into our heads.

Firstly,
Its okay to be fussy.
On a few occasions people I love have said 'oh you are so fussy' and damn straight I am.
I am allowed to be.
So, girls it is okay to have standards, requirements and things that you are not willing to compromise on.
If the guy you like/are interested in doesn't fit then he doesn't fit and move on.

Secondly,
Guys aren't your girl friends.
Yes, to a degree they are going to be a companion, a friend and someone you journey with.  BUT he is not going to love you like your girlfriends do.  He's a male (well hopefully if you are a girl).  He's wired differently.  His way of loving you is going to be different to your female friends.  That's what makes it special right?

So girls, those are just a few pointers I would like to um..point out.
I do hope they work and help you in some way at some point someday.
I will share more as I feel.

Inspired by,
'Act like a lady, think like a man'
Do watch the movie 'think like a man' or give the book a glance.  I'm pretty sure you won't be able to put it down again.

Much love,
fussy
Sarah.
