Question marks marking the way...

Philosophy, meaning love of knowledge and wisdom in Latin. A philosophy is a world view that every single (&married) person has regardless of whether they know it or not. The way we view life directly affects our enjoyment or displeasure of it. We can view life as a picnic, a journey or a test. Those are just three examples of many many more. If we view life as a test we may feel pressured to perform, a journey- we may offer ourselves and others grace and if we view life as a picnic we may get little actually done besides nibbling, nibbling and more nibbling. I guess that's perfect if you're a bunny. In which case you probably won't be reading this post.

Anyway, our philosophy about life will influence our decisions, our responses, our actions, our thought processes. I mentioned those in back to front order but I believe life and writing is a journey, so insert grace here.

Philosophers are curious, often ask questions, they're marked by their questions, have a unquenchable thirst for more. Questioning is a tool to discover more truth/wisdom/knowledge. Although not everyone who asks questions is a philosopher. Philosophers aim to make logical sense of information yet do not always reach their answers. Seems like a contradiction if you ask me. If you ask me still doesn't make you a philosopher though, hehee.

While some of us may believe we have all the answers to life's questions, some are of the world view that while we may not know all, we know enough.
What's your world view regarding life?
What is your philosophy about God?

As the proverbs encourage, may you seek wisdom. May you seek truth (re God and life). May you find them. May you write these nuggets of truth on your heart. May you bind them around your finger. May you cling to these truths tightly. May they never leave your side. May you have a love for knowledge. A love for wisdom. A love for more. May you find them. For those who seek, find. Those who knock, the door will be opened to you. May questions mark your way to greater truth. May you create truthful philosophies based on the word of God.

much love,
truth seeker
Sarah.
