...Auto-correct your auto biography...

Auto biographies. Ever read one? Ever written one? Ever written one about yourself?

There's this girl I know (I know some people who know people) who is applying to do her masters in psychology and she has to write a 2 page autobiography about herself and that she did. She said it was interesting and divulging of ones view of oneself. This lady who has a name (but is not necessarily going to be mentioned) then encouraged me and others (who I won't name either because its unnecessary) to do the same.

Here's mine:
(no I am not up for auction like the post officer thought)

Unedited version:

"Me. Sarah Catherine Godfrey. My name. It embodies me well. It curvy but detailed and intricate. It means princess, pure and God and peace in Hebrew. In that order. I like to go by my name. I've only gone by it in the last couple of years. I think it fits better than Sarah Godfrey or Roy's sister. "Oh are you guys really twins?" - would follow the introduction. Yeah, I like my 'new' name. I enjoy the Catherine part especially. The meaning is something I strive to be, pure. The pure will see God. I quite fancy that idea. I'll get my hands dirty to present them clean before God, Himself.

I see myself as a daughter. Not only a daughter of God but His princess. I desire to bring heaven to earth. I desire to reign here by the power of God and the heavenlies. I don't always get it right. My old name gets in the way. But I have the king by my side so who/what more could I need? (rhetorical). Heaven is cheering me on. All of heaven. I am cheering too. I'm cheering while I'm waiting and imagining & cheering while Its happening.

There's one massive party going on in my heart."

Someone encouraged me to write one, now I encourage you. You may also know some people who know some people. Encourage others to do it too. Its crucial to think well of yourself if you truly want to live out that nature.  Its crucial to
know who you are to live in the fullness of what God has in store for you!

When you write a autobiography, you may get stuck. Then, I encourage you to write declarations of who God says you are! Let him autocorrect your autobiography!

Whoever you are, you're awesome! Firstly cos God says you are and secondly cos you read my blog!

much love,
princess
