speaking life...

So for those who are bible lovers I'm sure you've read Proverbs 18vs21.  It says, "The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit"...
This week has been observation.  So I've been in a classroom observing my host teacher teach.  She'll say things like 'this class just doesn't behave', 'you're always up to no good'. 'you never listen', 'i don't know whats wrong with you'...

sigh...
These children are far to young to be reprimanded like this.  In fact everyone is too young to be reprimanded like this.
Trues BOB! When the teacher says such things the children live up to the expectation set by the teacher...Children then misbehave, wriggle, move, chatter... Who can blame them?

However, teachers or people at large can speak words of power and encouragement and see the change in behaviour of those around us.  I have observed it with my own two eyes this week.  The children want to please and thrive on encouragement.  The minute I start handing out stickers or speaking life the littlies just sit still and eagerly anticipate a sticker being placed on their forehead as if I was inducting them as a princess or a prince...

Lets speak words of life.
When we do we'll see its fruit.
Lets not let our emotions take over but instead speak life!
Get ready to see its full effect!

 Love,
Sarah.
