20/20 vision

There is so much power in 20\20 vision. You look back and see how things were. When you were in the situation, life didn't make sense but somehow over time we are able to see more clearly how things actually were. Sometimes we wish we could go back, but that is just foolishness we need to use that energy and effort to propel us forward. The truth is that nothing can change what has been but we do have the power of what can be.

I think that if I were really brave I would say to the many girls I know, "why would you go back to the same guy when he is still treating you the same way he used to". I think it would lead to a very interesting discussion but for many I think the answer would be "but I love him". This of course means something deeply personal to each girl and it would merely be unquestionable to fight on something that is of such a personal nature.

During a difficult situation it is difficult to have perspective and often it is only out of the situation that we can have such insight. But until then we have to wrestle with our ever changing perspectives.

I am amazed at how our perspectives can change daily. One day we are set on something and then after looking at the same situation from a few different angles the outcome is very different. I like to compare the "over analysing" to a stone that is being washed over with water time and time again. Eventually the stone is worn down and the real beauty of the stone is exposed. The washing of the waves over and over the stone make it remarkably smooth and admirable.

I do hope that all your thoughts, concern and "over analysing" brings forth a beautiful smooth stone. That you would be able to move forward with confidence in your decision. I do hope that when you look back over the current situation or circumstance you see that indeed it all makes sense in the bigger picture!

Take care friends...
